These Terms of Use govern your use of the xplAIned iOS app ("App") operated by xplAIned ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.
xplAIned is an AI education tool designed to help users learn about artificial intelligence. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
xplAIned offers auto-renewable subscriptions (xplAIned Pro) with the following terms:
The free tier includes access to the model encyclopedia, all learning articles, and 3 AI questions per day. The daily limit resets at midnight in your local time zone.
Responses from the AI assistant are generated by Anthropic's Claude and are provided for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated responses. Always verify important information with primary sources.
All content in the App, including articles, model data, and design, is owned by xplAIned or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, xplAIned shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
